1. Initial Contact – This is instigated by the customer and effectively “Gets the Ball Rolling”.

2. Phone Triage – Without doubt the most important step of the process. This is the “Fact Finding” stage that ensures the DesignJet Repair goes smoothly and is completed on the first visit.

3. Quotation – From the information gained during the Phone Triage, a Plotter Repair quotation is sent to the customer. This covers everything that may be required to complete the repair.

4. Agreement – Nothing will be done, before the customer agrees to the potential repair costs. However, once and agreement has been obtained an engineer and all the required parts are assigned to the call.

5. Plotter Repair – the assigned engineer will contact the customer with an ETA on the designated repair day (usually the day after). Upon arrival the situation is assessed, and a repair plan is put in place, with the customer. This will include any parts that may be required. No parts will be fitted without prior consent from the customer.

6. Calibration & Test - When the DesignJet Error code has been the resolved the plotter will be fully calibrated and tested.

7, Sign Off - Once the customer is happy with the DesignJet’s performance, the plotter covers are fully cleaned prior to the machine being signed back over to them.

8, Warranty – From this point a 30-day warranty period, against the same problem reoccurring begins.
