Apart from our exceptional DesignJet Repair Service, Hutchins IT Limited also provide a range of other services aimed at keeping your HP DesignJet in optimal working condition.

DesignJet Maintenance Contracts.

We offer very competitive DesignJet Maintenance Contracts. These range from12 months to 36 months and can be tailored to suit any customer’s needs.

Primarily, a contract covers any electrical or mechanical failure, next day on site. The contract covers all parts and labour, including call out and are paid for upfront. Its effectively an insurance policy for your machine.

The contract also covers a yearly service call to the machine, where the plotter will be cleaned and serviced as well as being recalibrated. This is designed to reduce failure which results in downtime and loss of production.

The maintenance contract does not cover any consumables as stated by the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

These are very cost effective way of ensuring the longevity of your HP DesignJet. Plotter repairs can be expensive in both time on site and parts. By taking out a Support Contract (maintenance contract) with Hutchins IT Limited you are ensuring priority treatment to next day call outs.

DesignJet Relocation Service.

Occasionally, companies move offices or simply remodel the one there in. Whilst most office equipment can be relocated by professional moving companies its recommended DesignJets are moved by experienced engineers.

This is because they have a used ink reservoir at one end of the machine. If the machine is tipped, the ink will spill and cause horrendous damage to the machine and potential the office carpets.Any experienced engineer will remove the ink reservoir (service station) prior to moving the machine and replace it once the DesignJet is in its new position.

For DesignJets on maintenance contracts with Hutchins IT Limited, most time the service station will be replaced with a fully refurbished one. This reduces future possibilities of failure. Please ask for a quotation for us to relocate your HP DesignJet.

DesignJet Media

Although not a core line product in our portfolio, Hutchins IT Limited can provide any type of media for your DesignJet. In most cases the very popular Bright White Inkjet Media can be supplied in boxes of 3 in A1, A0 and Oversized A0. Refurbished DesignJets

As a DesignJet Repair company, Hutchins IT Limited have a range of fully refurbished DesignJet available for sale.

These machines have been fully stripped down and all sub-systems have been cleaned, checked and replaced if required.

We do, however, replace every service station as part of our refurbishment process. This is to prevent ink spillage when the machines are relocated.

All the machines are fully cleaned and calibrated and are in full working condition prior to being placed up for sale.

They come out with test inks and printheads (used). This keeps the overall cost down. They are ready to print.

In most cases they are customer collectable although we do offer a delivery and installation service. Obviously, this does incur an extra cost.
