DesignJet T120 Repair, Burnley
Busy day today, first port of call is a DesignJet T120 repair in Burnley, well Pendle Witch country to be exact. Afterwards a nice trip to Wrexham in North Wales for a DesignJet T610 repair – may even see Deadpool whilst there!!!
The customer had bought a second hand DesignJet T120 24” from a friend of his who was retiring. The machine worked for a day then died – now that’s unlucky. Despite all his attempts the plotter was totally dead, no signs of life whatsoever.
This is not a major problem with this DesignJet platform, its simply a “Popped Power Supply Unit”. It happens from time to time.
Prior to setting off it was pertinent to get all the equipment I would need to complete the job. Tool kit, replacement power supply and Runes of Protection against Witchcraft. The Pendle Witch trials of 1612 are famous in English history.
Despite this, it is a beautiful part of the country. The actual premises of the customer are set on farmland with a 500m access driveway. A really tranquil place to live and work.
DesignJet T120 repair.
Its always good to see old customers again. Up until recently, he had been using a DesignJet 450C which had finally give up the ghost and gone to sleep. I can honestly say that during the repair, we certainly put the world to rights.
To be honest, the actual repair was straight forward, simply removed the covers and replaced the power supply unit. Whilst the covers were off and in line with our Total Care Solution policy, a full service and clean was conducted to the DesignJet.
The machine was then tested and the printheads aligned, after which the plotter was tested to the customers satisfaction.
Another successful DesignJet Repair in Burnley carried out. Plotter now working like a dream, customer happy and I hadn’t been turned into a newt, which is always a good thing.
